For Andrew Simone, Easy Skanking by Bob Marley

This is definitley one of my favorite songs by Bob Marley also. It too reminds me of the ocean and being on vacation. I have had his Legend album for over a decade and still listen to it regularly. My favorite thing about the song, and most reggae is that I am not sure what exact instruments they use to make their music; I am still not sure but would rather not know because it still sounds good to me.

For Jon, My Savior, My God by Aaron Shust

I really like this song. I can really hear and feel the passion and the peace that the artist is talking about. This song gives you the feeling about how great the Savior really is. I've never heard this song before, but since it was your DIS it gave me a chance, and other people, to hear the message Aaron Shust is trying to get out to the public. Good song choice.

For Gabriela Castro, You’ll be In My Heart by Phil Collins

I also enjoy that song very much! I agree with how you feel about the song, as it makes me think about my loved ones as well. . I also think it’s really cool how it makes you feel that way, too. I also enjoyed how it was put together musically, as well. I think Phil Collins’ voice has a very soothing feel to it. I enjoy hearing it anytime I happen to encounter it on the radio or when I watch Tarzan again. I always feel uplifted after listening to it, whether I was feeling depressed or happy beforehand. Isn’t it amazing how a song can connect to a person’s life like this one did? Great song choice and good luck in the future!

For Mary Dillon, I'll Be There For You

If this is the song I think it is (the theme song from FRIENDS) I really like this song, I had it as my ringtone for a long time. This was a great choice and I'm sure it gave you a lot to write about. This is one of those songs that I could never get sick of either, it's a great song. FRIENDS is my favorite show and it's such a perfect song for their theme. Good song choice.

Good luck with everying! :)

For Andrew Simone, Easy Skanking by Bob Marley

Andy,
I love Bob Marley, he has been and will continue to be one of my all time favorite artist. “Easy Skanking” is a song about a dance done by those who love Ska music and slowly reggae tunes. I believe it would make a great song for a deserted island. I am happy that you learned about Bob Marley’s music and life because he lived a short, but rather interesting one. Best of luck.

For Joey Guy, No matter what by T.I

I think this is one of T.I best songs that makes sense. He talks about making it through difficult obsatcle, its better then talking about dealing drugs, and stuff of that matter. My favorite part of the song is when he says "God'll put you through hell just to get heaven"..this is true for some of us because we have to go many phases in life to get where we want to be. Overall i think this is a great song.
Good luck with everything.

For Jon, My Savior, My God by Aaron Shust

I really love this song. When I first heard it, my day was going downhill. I felt alone, and had a demeaning attitude towards life. But, this song is so powerful and spiritual to its fullest. The melody is catchy and optimistic.

I think I needed this song that day because it reminded me that My Lord and Savior is with me always through thick and thin.

Achieve your goals and never give up Jon!

For Andrew Simone, Easy Shanking By Bob Marley

I grew up listening to Bob Marley’s music and love all his songs, so it is a given that I am a fan of “Easy Shanking.” It doesn’t matter what song of his I hear, it always puts me in a good mood and makes me happy. I have not listened to this song as much as others by Bob Marley but I enjoy this one just as much as all the others, the beat and sounds he has in his songs are flat out amazing. Good luck in the future.

To Amber Glenn
"Love in this Club Remix"

I really like your thinking process, which is to choose a song that would please you on 'lonely nights' on the Island. When selecting a song, my goal was to choose a song that would be pleasing enough for all the essays we were to write about. Also, Beyonce and Lil'Wayne are my favorite artists!
I like the song "Love in this Club," and I like the remix even better. Good choice. :)
